CSDA International aims to empower rural communities and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Africa to strive for sustainable development in terms of environmental integrity, social equality and economical growth. In realizing these objectives CSDA International undertakes projects in the areas of environmental protection, agricultural development, rural infrastructure, renewable energies, health, education, youth mobilization/ international youth work camps and internships and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) empowerment.

The organization, working significantly for the last 26 years, is professionally managed and has under gone different phases from field level implementation to strategic planning, sharing its experience with other like minded organizations as well different central and state line departments.
CSDA International acknowledges that combating poverty means tackling the problems of rural areas, where agricultural production is the main source of employment and income and empowering Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to create jobs and income. Thus, without development of the agricultural sector and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) poverty levels will persist. In this context Agriculture can be conceived as an integrated part of rural development.
